Kling Aviation, Inc. is a professional flight training organization operating under FAR Part 61, whose primary focus is to produce safe competent pilots at all levels in fixed wing aircraft. From your first flight through whichever level you choose, we can provide you with outstanding flight training. In fact, flight training is all we do. Our well-maintained aircraft are strictly used for flight training purposes, so you do not have to compete with weekend travelers for aircraft access. Our highly-skilled instructors are knowledgeable, passionate, and personally dedicated to giving you the best training experience available. We never teach only to minimum standards just to pass the next checkride. Rather, we strive to make sure you are the most proficient, competent pilot that has the knowledge and skills to enjoy a lifetime of safe flying.

Learning to Fly
Have you ever dreamed of learning to fly? There is no time like the present to reach that goal. With your private pilot's license the list of exciting destinations is limited only by your imagination. You can fly home for the holidays. Go camping. Attend sporting events. Visit family and friends in other cities. Travel the country (or even other countries). Go out to dinner in another city. Learning to fly is the ultimate freedom and can be one of the most fulfilling experiences one can have in one's lifetime...and it is easier than you think!
We have trained pilots from all walks of life including doctors, lawyers, astronauts, mechanics, engineers, entrepreneurs, sales people, high school and college students, paramedics, nurses, and so many others. We have also trained pilots who went on to flying careers with U.S Navy, the U.S. Air Force, Marine Corp, Coast Guard and even on to the Airlines. We have taught students who began their training at age 14, while others began theirs at age 78. Age is not necessarily a factor as long as the student has the mental capacity to perform the appropriate tasks.
A common concern is that of getting lost during solo crosscountry training. Kling Aviation, Inc. has successfully trained a number of pilots who were self-proclaimed "directionally-challenged" individuals.
Learning to fly is not for everyone. There are people who, in spite of their dreams and desires, just do not have the aptitude and cannot become pilots. There has to be a strong desire to learn and the ability to grasp the concepts of safe flying in order to successfully become a pilot. We can assess your skills and abilities and help you decide if you are a good candidate to becoming a pilot.
Take the first step and call now to schedule your Discovery Flight. A Discovery Flight is your introduction to flying where you will take a flight with an instructor, try your hand at taxiing and once airborne, actually learn how to turn, climb and descend in an airplane. We can even capture the event on video for you to share your flight experience with your family and friends. The flight lasts about 45 minutes and at the end you will receive a pilot logbook with the flight instructor's endorsement of your flight... with you at the controls!
